Atty. Karlo S. Bello


Admitted to the Philippine Bar, 2007. Education:  University of the Philippines (A.B. Political Science, 2000).  Ateneo Law School (Juris Doctor, 2005).

Atty. Bello comes from a family of public servants, and thus, specializes in administrative law, and has had extensive experience government affairs and public policy. 

 He has served as an appointed and elected public official in Davao City. He was the leading councilor of the third district Davao City. On 2016, he was appointed as Undersecretary for Field and Operations of the Department of Agrarian Reform while his father is with the Department of Labor and Employment serving as its Secretary or Head of Agency.  

 Last August 2019, Atty. Bello was appointed as a Commissioner of the Securities and Exchange Commission. His term runs until the year 2026.
